RING SIZE GUIDE
There are three common ways you can measure your ring size right at home so you can finally get your ring measurement right, for good.
U.S. ring sizes follow a scale of numbers (and half numbers), typically from ring size 3 to 13.5 for adults. Women’s rings are commonly between sizes 3 and 9, while men’s rings are usually sized between 8 and 14. Those units match up to your finger’s width in millimeters: A ring size 3 fits a ring finger (or any finger) that is 14 millimeters across, and the sizes climb from there. The average ring size for women is between 5 and 7, but it’s always best to get an exact ring measurement before spending a lot of money for resizing in jewelry repair service or return delivery to manufacture. The best way to measure your finger in jewelry store, but if it`s impossible we offer to use our ring size guide is designed to help you find the perfect fit.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR RING SIZE AT HOME
Finding out what your own ring size is at home is simple. Take a string, small strip of paper or even floss and wrap it around the finger you wish a ring for (make sure it’s not too tight). Mark where whatever you used overlaps and line it straight alongside a ruler in millimeters. Then use the chart below to see what size it is, that is your ring size!
It’s a good rule of thumb to size up either a half or whole ring size for a wide or cigar ring band style.
(If your ruler does not have mm, you can take the number you read in inches and multiple it by 25.4 to find out what it is in millimeters, ex: 1 inch is 25.4mm, or you are using centimeters, then simply multiple the number you read in centimeters by 10, ex: 1cm is 10mm).
